not the show, the age. it’s my age now.

had pretty much the best birthday yet yesterday. my lovely and awesome and amazing wife got me 24 gifts/surprises for the occasion. they were as follows (in no particular order)

1. pay day candy bar
2. bike pump (to get our bikes ready for the road
3.  socket wrench extensions
4. guinness pudding (she made it)
5. breakfast in bed yesterday morning
6. another pay day candy bar
7. 6 pack of strongbow hard cider
8. a Kindle!
9. a Kindle accidental damage warranty (good idea)
10. 3 woodchuck amber hard cider
11. 3 woodchuck crisp hard cider
12. 3 woodchuck 308 (idk what that stands for) hard cider
13. another pay dat candy bar
14. a test drive of the car i want (and will have) - a volvo c30
15. itunes gift card (for my iphone games :) )
16. an axe
17. a hatchet
18. a wedge for splitting logs (we have a fire pit, hence the tools)
19. movies gift card
20. popcorn bucket with free refills at celebration until october
21. an oil drain pan for doing oil changes
22. another pay candy bar (i like them, but it also represent my enhanced “pay days” from a new job that I’ll be getting)
23. some hair product, cuz i gotta look good
24. something that didn’t arrive in time but will come in the mail tomorrow.

so yeah, really cool wife i’ve got there. really really. and we spent the evening wandering festival and eating good food. and it was grand. oh so grand. thanks to my lady.
